What is a nearly new car?
A nearly new car is typically a very young vehicle - often just a few months old - that has already been registered and has only delivery or demo mileage on the clock. In most cases it falls into one of two categories: pre registered (pre reg) or ex demonstrator (ex demo) or what we like to call them ‘Nearly New Cars’.
These cars are usually in almost pristine condition, with interiors and bodywork that look close to brand new, but because someone (often the dealership) is technically the first keeper, you benefit from a lower purchase price and avoid the steepest part of new car depreciation.
