If your Citroen has defective parts, Citroen will repair or replace the parts. Excpet those that are subject to normal wear and tear e.g brake pads. This is covered 3 years from the date of registration.
Citroën Warranty

That’s why when you buy a new Citroën you get all the advantages of a full warranty with manufacturing, paintwork and perforation defects all covered. In certain situations, we’ll even go beyond our legal warranty obligations because we want your ownership journey to be a happy one. Citroën’s manufacturer warranty is valid across the whole EU, and in 15 other countries and regions. WARRANTIES INCLUDED WITH YOUR NEW CITROËN
Paintwork
If your Citroen has a defect/ lacquer in the original paintwork, Citroen will do a parcial or total respray to rectify the defect. This is covered up to 2 years from the date of registration.
Perforation
If your Citroen has perforation/corrosion of the bodywork from the inside to the outside, Citroen will repair or replace the defected parts where the corrosion is visible. This is covered up to 12 years on a personal car and 5 year on a commercial vehicle from the date of registration.
Electric car
On top of the standard warranty, Citroen electric/hybrid vehicles get an 8 year warranty for their traction battery.
CITROËN EXTENDED WARRANTY
If you want to enjoy peace of mind for longer you extend your Citroën’s warranty, so long as:
- Your Citroën is less than 10 years old.
- Has covered less than 100,000 miles
- Is currently covered by a Citroën Manufacturer, Approved, Extended or Renewal Warranty.
A Citroën Extended Warranty gives you extensive coverage of most of your vehicle’s components. Repairs can be carried out at a Citroën Authorised Repairer and is available as an Annual Policy or a Monthly Renewing Policy.
Another great thing about a Citroën Renewal Warranty is that it’s fully transferable if you decide to sell your car - a great incentive for potential buyers.
