Salary: £50k to £80k OTE
Type: 5 day working week (closed Sundays except in March & September)

Main Purpose of the Role:
To lead and manage the new and used car sales operations of the dealership, ensuring achievement of sales targets, maintenance of high client satisfaction standards, team development, and strict compliance with industry and FCA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and manage a team of new and used car sales executives
- Drive team and individual performance to meet and exceed agreed sales and profit targets
- Maintain stock control and oversee used vehicle appraisals and part-exchange processes
- Ensure consistent high levels of client satisfaction and positive client experiences
- Analyse and report on sales trends, conversion rates and team performance metrics
- Oversee accurate use of CRM and sales management systems
- Work closely with marketing to support vehicle promotions and campaigns
- Ensure all team members comply with FCA regulations, GDPR, and company policies
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of sales team members
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth client journey from enquiry to handover
Essential Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role within the automotive industry (ideally both new and used vehicles)
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- In-depth knowledge of FCA compliance and industry standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Competent with sales systems, CRM platforms, and reporting tools
- Full UK driving licence
